Transfer Guards May Boost Offense

Maryland’s biggest addition — and likely best player — is Charlotte transfer Jahmir Young, who figures to be somewhat of an upgrade from former Terp guard Fatts Russell, especially on offense.

A two-time first-team All-Conference USA point guard, Young averaged 19.6 points per game last season and provides a scoring punch to a team that just lost its two leading scorers from last season.
